THE PERSON BEHIND THE PLATFORM
About Asili Journeys
Asili Journeys is a Danish travel inspiration platform, founded and run by Sebastian Lauritzen.
The platform makes it easier to find destinations, experiences and stays that suit your preferences, budget and the time of year you want to travel.
A good journey can begin with a small guesthouse, a distinctive boutique hotel or an experience with a local guide. Asili Journeys brings together inspiration for both budget-friendly trips and more exclusive stays — with a focus on each place's character and possibilities.
The person behind it
My name is Sebastian Lauritzen, and I am the founder of Asili Journeys. I am responsible for the platform's development, content and partnerships.
My ambition is to build a trusted Danish travel platform where inspiring images are supported by useful information. The guides aim to help you move from a travel idea to practical decisions about seasons, areas to stay in, transport and experiences.
How Asili Journeys works
The guides draw on research, official information sources and details from relevant providers. Destinations and experiences are selected with attention to seasonality, practical considerations and different travel needs.
The content is editorial travel inspiration. Personal experiences and reviews are clearly identified when included. Prices, availability and local conditions can change, so always check current information before booking.
Booking and partnerships
Asili Journeys works with external booking platforms. Some links are advertising links that may earn the platform a commission if you make a booking.
You book and pay directly with your chosen provider, which also handles your reservation. Asili Journeys does not sell package holidays.
